Network Performance on the Bottom Rungs

According to an April 22 blog post written by John Legere—CEO and president of T-Mobile, “Since the cellular connection will be made based on network speed, we expect to capture the largest share of traffic coming from Project Fi customers – and chances are good that these customers are going to be riding on America’s fastest nationwide 4G LTE network. The T-Mobile Data Strong™ network!”

Earlier in this series, we learned about Google’s (GOOG) (GOOGL) new Project Fi service. It will intelligently use the fastest network it can find, whether it’s one of two national wireless carrier networks or a Wi-Fi hotspot. The two networks in question belong to wireless providers T-Mobile (TMUS) and Sprint (S).

In this part of our series, we’ll see which network performs best.
